Ladybug has been with us once before and now she’s back.  When she first came to us she was very pregnant and delivered a litter of 11.  Seven of them made it and were the absolutely most wonderful, adorable babies you can imagine.  And she was an awesome Mom for such a young little girl.  After all the babies were adopted, it was Ladybug’s turn to get a family of her own … and she did.  And she got an absolutely wonderful family with a Mom, a Dad, a baby boy that Ladybug was sure was her very own, and a doggy sister.  She and her little boy became the BEST of friends.  Unfortunately, several years later … and for reasons no one can explain, Ladybug and her doggy sister began having some ‘issues’ and after a few scary skirmishes, her Mom and Dad decided that it would be best for everyone if we rehomed Ladybug.  It was probably the hardest decision they ever had to make and many tears were shed.  Ladybug is an absolute sweetheart and will be a wonderful companion for the right family.  She looks like a yellow lab mixed with some sort of pitty-like terrier (the ears).  She has the lanky, soft lab body and the lab-happy full-body wag, and she has so much love to give.

If you’re interested in adopting Ladybug and would like to talk with her previous owners, we’ll be happy to arrange that.  Her previous family still adores her and wants only the best for their sweet Ladybug.

If you think Ladybug might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Ladybug picks you too.  If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.

Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com or call 434 841 0411 or 540 297 1590 if you have additional questions.
