Volunteers are what make rescue work!
Volunteers have heart

Without them, nothing gets done - lives don't get saved, families don't get wonderful new family pets, pups leave this world without the hope of feeling the love of a forever family.

How much time does it take to volunteer?  As much or as little as you can spare.

What do volunteers do?  As much or as little as you can do.

The needs are many - from fostering a dog for a month or two to helping with adoption and fundraising events.

The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save.
I couldn't foster_ed
The more events we have to get our pups seen by people, the better their chance of adoption.

Have friends that are great cooks?  Would you consider having a bake sale to benefit AAMR? Or providing food for sale at one of our events?

Would you be willing to collect used towels, sheets, blankets, pillows from your friends, co-workers, family members to donate to AAMR?

Would you be willing to collect $$ from your friends, co-workers, family members to help cover the costs of monthly pet meds like heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventatives?  (We are a 501c3 non-profit organization so all donations are tax-deductible too!)

If you have the heart and the time to be a volunteer, please complete the online volunteer application.  If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, you should ALSO complete the foster application.

We appreciate our current volunteers and look forward to welcoming more!

We do have to limit our event volunteers to individuals over 18 years of age due to our insurance coverage.  We appreciate the enthusiasm of our younger friends who would love to volunteer at events, but please consider doing things (with adult supervision) like bake sales and food collection drives.
