Housebroken:  YES

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: happy, sweet, a little shy at first meeting, a bit submissive

Energy level: medium – likes to snuggle some, but definitely not just a lap dog – loves to play

Fenced yard required?:   Definitely preferred for his safety … he loves to get outside and play so he needs a safe place

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  No

Riding in vehicles:  rides well     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  YES

Good with children: Has not been around children in foster care, but given his personality he would probably be ok with older, well-mannered, respectful children who would respect his space and play with him kindly

Repo has grown up in a household with lots of other little dogs so he really enjoys having another social pup to play with.  He loves people and definitely loves attention, but he is active … not just a lap dog.  He will do best in a moderately active household where people who have time to spend with him.  He will probably be fine with older children who will play with him but he is not the little dog to be treated roughly by children or adults.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Repo picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
