Energy level:  medium with bursts of high  (it’s that terrier coming out)

Fenced yard required?:   YES  … she needs to have a safe place to play

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’ and is very smart and treat motivated

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK – a little anxious at first       

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  Will chase them and bark at them

Good with children:  She has not been with children while in foster care but we think she would be OK with calm, respectful older children

Adoption fee:  $175

Sally was in a high-kill shelter, but even while she was in there she was a happy, wiggly, friendly little girl.  She went into her foster home and fit in immediately with the family and the other pups.  She is such a sweetheart and she has the most expressive eyes and face.  You’d swear she can understand every word you say to her.

Sally just wants to be loved and to be an important part of a family.  She is joyful when she gets a steady diet of love and kindness!  Sally would love to have a family that would take her everywhere with them.  She has wonderful manners so it is super easy to include her in every activity of your life.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Sally picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
