Harley had a rough start in life … bounced around to several homes in his first 6 months before coming into rescue.  He was pretty much neglected and all he really wants in life is to be somebody’s snuggle buddy.  He is happy, joyful, fun-loving, sweet, gentle, energetic, mischievous, snuggly, smart, stubborn, a clown, a best friend … everything you could want all rolled into a very handsome package of black fur!

We’re not sure of his exact breed mix but it probably includes Patterdale terrier and something a little larger.  He has a long, lean body with pure terrier agility, intelligence and determination.  Harley will do best with a family that wants to include him as a true family member.  He needs leadership, love, snuggles, consistency and kindness from his people.  He also needs a healthy dose of exercise every day that includes a lot of interaction with his family.

If you think Harley might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Harley picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.

Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com or call 434 841 0411 or 540 297 1590 if you have additional questions.
