Other important information:  Jager is a big goofball who has no clue that he is a big dog.  He appears to be pure GSP but his tail was not docked.  He is strikingly handsome.  He is a bit cautious in new situations and he really likes a routine.  He will need to have a very active family and a family that will include him in everything.  He is not a pup that will be ignored.  GSPs are very smart and if they do not get enough attention and enough exercise, they can become nervous and agitated and can be a handful to deal with.

This is not the dog for a first-time dog owner.  He does require an experienced owner.

Adoption fee:  $250

If you think Jager might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Jager picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee and an adoption contract to be signed.

Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com or call 434 841 0411 or 540 297 1590 if you have additional questions.
