Barney is just too cute. He is probably 1 1/2 - 2 years old, weighs around 40 pounds.  He is so loving and just a happy little guy that loves to play and have fun. Barney is housebroken and crate trained and he loves to be inside and close to his people. True to his breed, Barney is a very smart dog and very responsive to training.  Also true to his breed, his is medium/high energy and may be a little too much for very young children.

Barney has come such a long way while with his foster family!  He is very social with people and with other dogs.  His energy and his desire to play may be overwhelming to most cats.  He is a 'working dog' by breed and he loves to have a job - even if it is just to 'sit.'  With his energy and his intelligence, he needs to be challenged daily.   He will do best with an active family who will keep him busy! 

Barney has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. Now he needs the perfect family who will love him and protect him forever. Barney needs an active family with a fenced yard where he can play fetch and get plenty of exercise every day. He also needs to live inside with his people as he needs lots of human companionship.
