Captain, Cappie for short, is such a terrific guy! He is a very handsome, approximately 1 year-old, 40 pound Brittany Spaniel mix, and he has the nicest manners you can imagine. He is crate-trained, housebroken, walks well on leash and plays well with all his foster siblings and children. He is good with the cats, but will chase them if they decide to run. Cappie is a very gentle boy, with a wonderful playful side. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. He will be a great family dog and a faithful companion. He would absolutely love to have a fenced yard to play in with his new family.

On Sep 14, 2008, Captain got his wish - a new forever family! Aileen and Peter Fletcher came to meet Amy and left adopting both Amy and Captain. There was just something special about this guy!
