Happy Life little Holly Baby!  Now there are 3 sweet ladies keeping each other company and loving life!

Hi … my name is Holly Baby! Please take a minute to read my entire bio to find out everything you need to know about me.

If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online.

What do you do when you’re 10-years-old and the person you love most is no longer with you?  You put on your ‘poodle pants,’ find some new people to take care of you, get all your vet visits caught up, have a good dental so you can get back to eating well, and you launch a search for a great new family that will love you and let you love them.  She may have a sensitive trachea and some cataracts, but she has earned the nickname ‘Spunky Monkey’ with her foster family. So here we are … introducing Holly Baby … the beautiful girl in search of a new family of her very own. Do you need an adorable, sweet ‘Spunky Monkey’ in your life???

Approximate age/birthdate:  4 7 2012

Weight/size:  8 lbs

Housebroken:  YES as long as you do your part and take her out often

Crate trained:  YES although she really prefers snuggling up in a cushy bed

Personality:  sweet, loving, playful, happy

Energy level:  medium (she can still run around the house and the yard with the best of them)

Fenced yard required?:   Always preferred so she could have a safe place to get outside and explore.  She should never be outside a fenced area off-leash.

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk with manners:  Walking on leash seems to be a new skill for her, but she is learning.  We get the feeling that she was carried around a lot. Due to trachea issues, she should always be walked with a harness on (never a slip lead or just a collar).  Too much pressure directly onto her trachea will make her cough.

Obedience training:  No … but she does listen well

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES  although she is not a fan of large dogs or rowdy youngsters of any size

Social with cats:  Has not been around cats in foster care

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  She would not appreciate being handled roughly by anyone (of any age).

Adoption donation: $150

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Holly Baby picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.
