About Cody

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper with Black

Cody is one happy little boy!  He now has a new Mom and it's just the two of them ... so he knows he gets all the spoiling now!  Lucky little boy!

Hi … my name is Cody! Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.

If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online.

Cody is your adult/perpetual youngster!  He is absolutely adorable, and he is one of the lucky rescue pups who has always been loved and well-cared for.  Sadly, his person passed away and he found himself in need of a new forever home.  He has so much personality and he loves to show you just how happy he is to see you.

Cody has grown up having his person at home with him most of the time, and he would really like to have that again.  He does socialize well with his foster friends, but he would love to be an ‘only child’ again because he has a little trouble sharing attention.  He is not mean about it, but he will go off alone and pout if he feels like another pup is getting too much attention that he wants. He also sometimes gets excited and feels the need to ‘mark’ his territory inside.  He does respond to correction and we see it as an issue of him feeling insecure when he first goes into a new situation.  With patience, positive correction, and love, Cody will overcome this habit.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Cody picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.

Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.
